I received more enthousiastic replies than expected on my modest contribution about some of the Kaiser's Uniforms, http://www.pickelhaubes.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1716 .

These kind reactions fuelled me to post some of my recently selfmade photographs of the Mausoleum of the Kaiser, some 100 yards right from the rather small castle, in the park of Huis Doorn , The Netherlands.
You may concern this topic as a preview of a special photo impression, I am planning to publish on my own website.

I download these pictures also out of gratitude for some forum members who helped me yet, one time or another, in accumulating my humble knowledge. They know themselves, who I mean.

I will add some short notes in between the pictures.
I do hope some of you enjoy these pictures!

The German Imperial Eagle. Right behind it, the 5 Teckel-dogs of the Kaiser are buried.

There is outside no name inscripted. "Everybody should know who is inside the mausoleum!" Some Details:

Again, wonderful, wonderful photos! Perhaps someday I will get to travel there. I cannot find it now, but some time ago I saw a photo on the web (I think it was on a personal web site) of a current German army officer, in uniform, standing at attention saluting inside the mausoleum. I've looked and looked for it, but I can't find it now.
 
I was there with my wife last November. It was cold and snowing so we didn't ventue as close as you. Thank you for posting.

I asked the staff about the eagle statue in photos 3 & 4 where Pierre GG ,mentioned that the "5 Teckel-dogs" are buried. The statue is actually in front of the Royal dachshunds. The staff said that the statue was erected when Senta died in 1927. Senta was with Wilhelm through the entire Great war at his headquarters including trips to the front and lived to be an incredible 20 years of age. The Heartbroken Kaiser had the statue erected when Senta was laid to rest.

The other Dachshunds burried there are: Topsy, Arno, Wai-Wai and the last, unfortunately, I could not make out the name as the stone has worn.

Unfortunately I don't have a scan of it, but in my postcard collection I have a postcard of Kaiser Wilhelm II standing on the deck of a ship, perhaps his yacht, in a Russian army uniform and there's a dachshund standing on the deck a few feet behind him. I'll see if I can find it and get it scanned.

Due to the way he's turned and the shadows it is kind of hard to see the dog in this photo, but there is a dachshund on the deck right behind the Kaiser! Perhaps it's Senta.

That is a great photo! Willi was an "admiral" in the Russian Navy after all!
 
Of course, the Kaiser is not wearing a navy uniform! This is the uniform of the 85.Wyborgski Infantry Regiment, which he was the honorary commander of and whose shoulder straps bore his royal cypher.

And as usual, the foto is taken so that there is no sign of the shorter left arm. The deformity is always hidden as in this case or he rests the left hand on the sword hilt which creates the impression that the arms are of equal length. An excellent photograph!! Brian
