I thought the same when I saw the wappen, must be the sunburst on top. The plates, though, are different. Is there an Argentinian plate like that?

I have an Argentine helmet but the badge is different. Sorry I don't have larger photos

It's an Uruguayan badge.

As soon as I heard Uruguayan I recognized it. A similar badge was worn on the French Adrian style helmets.
