Hello friends,

I have a question about Pickelhaube model 1905/06. Whether such helmets were used in infantry regiments of Thuringia (94 R. 95 R. 96 R.)? I have seen pictures where the soldiers have the model 1905, but with plain Adler. Eagle is not a typical star on the chest. I ask because I have copies of such a model and would like to build Pickelhaube 94 regiment.

I think that is a very good question. The question is how big was the experiment? How many Army corps were involved? Which ones? If you find this out it would be very interesting. Welcome to the forum!
 
This photo soldiers of 94 regiment. Monogram on the door. All have the usual eagles, without a star on his chest.
 
But on the internet, I found this photo: Sachsen and officer 96 R. so maybe.......

Welcome to the forum musio. I have an M95 helmet marked to JR 93, it also came with the common Prussian brass eagle. Greetings from Canada!
