This belonged to a soldier in the Ober-Elsässiches Infanterie-Regiment. Nr.171 (Colmar):
The tunic is in good condition but does have a few stains:
The Pickelhaube is in excellent condition:
The right side of the rear neck guard is marked with "JR 52" which has been lined out in black (readable when dampened):
The left side of the rear neck guard is marked "JR 171" (barely readable under sunlight when damp):
Next to the ""JR 171" stamp is a "BAG" stamp and a date which appears to be 1911.
