Prussian Dragoon Reg. 4,5,6,10,12 &15

A very beautiful helmet Amy, congratulations! (y)

Add me to Brian saying this is the first time that I have seen this color of green interior. It looks very nice.

The very nice condition sweatband is a green color oilcloth, ersatz wartime material also.

It looks like there is a faint maker mark in gold color on the green cloth head liner, on the wearer's left side? Or maybe I am imagining seeing things and it is simply a worn area on the cloth. Maybe it is the "Awes Marke" (A. Werner & Sohne, Berlin) maker logo?

Best Wishes,

Alan

Great find Amy, there is just something so classy about Dragoon helmets and that one is beautiful.

Good to see a second example of this unusual green interior. I notice also, that this piece uses a satin type of cloth rather than the typical ribbed silk. I have seen this before but in my experience, it is not common.
