This is an excellent "starter" piece..... all fittings etc. are original to the helmet and match. Reichs kokarde and chin strap are reproductions but the Prussian kokarde is an original NOS bought off Ebay 20 years ago. I did have to restitch both visors on this helmet but no other work was done. Complete M15 style liner. These M15's are often size marked but not in this case...my guess would be 56-57 cm.
The lacquer on this helmet has gone to a matte finish after 100+ years but there are no "chunks" missing. The gouge shown here is the only significant mark on the helmet. Original Prussian kokarde is also shown.
