Qing Dynasty Imperial Chinese Army Hat

I was fortunate enough to find this at the recent OVMS show in Wilmington, Ohio last week. This is a late 19th century hat to the Imperial Chinese Army during the Qing Dynasty.

Wasn't this the model for the East German helmet? Neat piece.
