So I picked up a helm with this literal hodge podge of parts astrewn all over the shell and there appears to be a pre95 screw on wappen, a pre95 spike, white metal chinstrap post (only 1), a reichskokarde, and a 15cm brass scaled chinstrap half.
My main questions are which specific helm is this scaled chinstrap for (I know there are a few different styles), and are there vent assemblies that don't have a loop at the top to connect onto the rear spike rivet prongs? This vent assembly doesn't have a loop at the top and I just wanted to check if this is just plain busted or if there are vent assembles that don't have a loop because idk to be honest...
Thanks!
Also the helm shell is a literal disaster...
