R101 Filz Helme Macedonia??

Anyone have some comments on this "supposed" filz helme with the scroll "101". Ebay # 220201344733.
My take is that this is another one of our favourtie Brit 1970's copies. I have never seen any helmet with a canvas liner. I have a Prussian OR's filz helme (brass fittings) that comes with an oil cloth liner but obviously this is totally different. I have also seen original officer helmets with oil cloth sweat bands. The spike base split brads are also suspect...thin narrow brads. Again, I have worked on mid war officer helmets that had spike base stars with thin brads instead of screw posts but never an OR's. It has not been that long ago that we were expressing disbelief that helmets were selling for that price, and now Joe is spending that much on a post card? But then it was not as expensive as a shoulderboard purchased at SOS recently.

You have the strap all I have is a PayPal receipt! It was the only thing I bought at the show and it wasn't even at the show. I feel pretty ashamed to spend that much money on a stupid postcard but Janet took it real well. What ever the cost that trip was certainly worth it just to meet all you guys!
