Rare Württemberg Alpine Shako M15

Recently got this shako from the Alpine Corps, which was created during WW1. I would take off the wappen to show a reverse view and ghosting, but the leather retainers are very much in place and will not come out without potentially breaking.

Named to "WIRTHS"
Made by J.M. Eckart, in Ulm

"Königlich Württembergisches Gebirgsbataillon"

Not a lot of photos or info on these. Thoughts appreciated.

What a beautiful and rare piece, looking for one of those for a long time,
So when selling let me know

I think Erwin Rommel the famous desert fox served in that regiment as an officer during World War I and was very successful ( I think at Carporetto), (as my memory is correct, no Time to check now)

You said not much info available,
I found this in an Osprey book:
On the illustration is the shako, but also the special fieldcap for gebirgstruppen that is very hard to find

I had read that, super cool. From a mountain lion to a desert fox...
