By pushing these prices so high, it will be real easy for some companies to invest in better material to fabricate fake helmets.
I’m feel sorry for the innocent new collectors.

As far as high prices go, collectors have only themselves to blame (I'd be doing carwheels if officer's helmets dropped back down below $300). However, I'm with you on feeling bad for new folks if they get fooled. (I think most of us have been in that boat!)
