Reserve Officer Preussia Pickelhaube
I want to show this beauty, which remains under it's cover and transport case over the decades, to the forum.
Any comments are welcome

What a beauty! Time stood still for this one indeed, a very nice helmet. :)
Thank you for sharing it here.

A beautiful helmet of a Landwehr-Train officer in a very good condition. Congratulations and thank you for sharing (y)

They don’t get better than this pickelhaube! The fire gilding is in remarkable condition! Thank you for sharing.
Best regards
John

Very nice indeed a really nice set. What makes it a Train rather than an Infantry Officers helmet? Rob

The convex (curved) chin scales as worn by all mounted troops. Sometimes these can be a bit hard to ID but when the rosettes are also curved as seen here then you know the scales themselves are truly convex.
