Greetings all, I’m new to this forum (am not a collector). It’s great to be here and see all the excellent discourse.
My question: Are there any examples of an Enlisted Prussian front plate with a Reserve maltese cross affixed below the ‘FR’ cypher? Could such have been a war-time expediency evidenced by surviving examples and period photographs, or was the practice of locating a Reserve cross below the ‘FR’ exclusive to Prussian officer plates (standard type, not specialty regiments)?
Thanks all in advance for your inputs.
