Reservist at Christmas

I found this one and hoped to get a nice picture of an IR 82 soldier. So I was a little bit disappointed when I held it in my hand and realized it's a guy of RIR 82.

Then I watched the details. You can see some branches of a christmas tree on the left and in the background that branch with some bells. Related to the M 1910 Feldrock and the number of the regiment on the Überzug I guess this was christmas 1914. Like this picture very much now...

It's amazing how often those 'extras' appear in a photograph once it's enlarged.
