Greetings fellow forum members, at present I am about to restitch a silk liner into an officer helmet. The problem is that it has a rarely seen dark green coloured liner. I need to know from those of you who own a helmet with such a liner......what colour was the thread used to tack the silk liner to the sweat band? These are always tacked between the scallops to keep the thread as invisible as possible. Many thanks!
