Regarding the "Brandnew" WWI exhibition (opened last month): http://www.expo14-18.be/en.." onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;.
I translate (from dutch): a comment in our quality newspaper "De Standaard": by journalist Marc Reynebeau.
"We note that-ironically-the Army Museum is not getting the opportunity to present its own-extensive-collection as an extra to its visitors. Especially the halls where the items and weaponry on the Great War are assembled-those weapons and machinery that illustrate the industrialization of the War-are now inaccessible".
So bad ! No smell of old leather and gun oil !!! ....Perhaps even only a few "Hauben"on display...
Has anyone already visited this new exhibition ?
We are looking forward to a full report on this visit ! :guns:
But: We will focus on the Halen battlefield museum !!!...and promise a full report on his one !!!
Regards,
Francis
