Saxon General helmet

What an excellent example Steve!
Congratulations!
Your whole collection is by the way museum worthy, I for one can never do that.
But I too bought some helmets today, regular M1895 ones. A Prussian artillery one, and a Bavarian M1895. Both marked.
I will post pictures as soon as they arrive at my place.

Again, congratulations with this excellent example!

Regards, Coert.

Thank you
This is to replace the Saxon Generals helmet that I sold in 1992
Big mistake
It cost me a lot more to replace it than what I sold it for back then.
Also my pre 1992 example had a great featherbush
also I had a Saxon General Staff helmet in silver
so I can not replace it either
this helmet is named to a General
I will try and do more at a later date

I'll post them as soon as they arrive Steve. They are both kammer marked, the prussian arty one to FsAR, and the Bavarian one to IR9.
They are to arrive tomorrow. Both enlisted men.

Regards, Coert.

Oh man Steve, how did you accidentally sell your previous general’s helmet? That sounds painful…

Cheers

Jay ;
Circa 1992 I made the big mistake of selling all of my Non-Prussian helmets
bright idea at the time so I thought
big mistake in the long run
I had no idea that prices would move up to todays prices
