Hi..

Why did this one go for only 1030 euro? Thought it was more expensive. The seller says 100% original. Do you think the same? Anyone have experience with this dealer?

Looks fine to me Doc. I have had no experience with this dealer and I do not have one of these shakos. The piece looks original and complete. Brian
 
Hi Brian.

The shako was a fake :-P

It was a 1920´s police shako. The old holes from the polic star are closed and the Seebataillon eagle has been added.

They really know how to take the pictures :x

Item returned and I got all money back. No problems.

Now he is trying to sell it again. Still as a 100% original item. This time he have removed the cocarde wich were a III. Reich police cocarde. The hole shako was a 1920's police shako and the wrappen was added. Ask for pictures of the top of the egales wings and the seller will have some problems :)
