Hello all! Hope you are all doing well, I have some cool photos to share! Had my lovely Girlfreind over today and we had a little photo shoot!

She wasn’t all for it at first but loved the results in the end! She said she’d love to do more in the future with more helms.

She asked if I could share them with you all so here you are!

Probably one of if not my favorite pieces!

I noticed you have that SMY Hohenzollern Tellermutze, God I’m jealous, that’s probably my favorite ship besides the Kaiser wilhelm der große.

I have a deep love for naval items and Tally Caps in particular, ever since your first post, I've been interested to see more of that cap.

I’ve been falling into that rabbit hole myself, navel items suck me in. The Zweispitz is what I’m aiming to get at some point!

Seller likely has multiple examples of this Prussian Feldzeichen in stock. She is well known for having nice quality modern made parts. Check her other listings on eBay Germany.

Alan, I think you posted the wrong link here. I think Wanda the Stuffer doesn't sell Feldzeichen, unfortunately. ;)

I momentarily did not realize that I had a news article URL address in my computer cache about voter ballot harvesting and stuffing ballot boxes, and a person named wanda who got arrested for doing such, along with some other people who got caught and arrested. The news article nicknamed the woman "wanda the stuffer". You saw the split second moment before I corrected the pasted links to eBay, and removed the URL address for the news article.

I realized that too, the moment I saw you edited your reply Alan.
 
Reminds me of being young, I remember having girls in my room at my parents' house as a youngster and getting really nervous when they would pick up a helmet or cap off the shelf and put it on. I would try to keep cool but inside I was thinking don't mess with the collection. :LOL:

I did take a couple of Polaroids of old girlfriends in caps or a tunic but those were private :eek:

You guys look like you're having fun and that's what it's all about, I wish you good luck and happy collecting. 👍

Great to have a young man on the forum keeping the love of Militaria collecting going. Sometimes I really worry about the future of the hobby.

Thank you so much sir! Aye we always have a ton of fun with the caps, we’ve been together for about half a year and we’re still going strong! :~)

I do share the same fear, my friends come over and they always wanna hold or touch pieces, it can be very nerve racking 😅

Really glad to be here, I love this hobby, it’s my passion and something I plan to do till I’m old and grey, I worry too about the future of the hobby but I promise to do my part and keep it alive and inspire others to join!
