Offered for sale is an original wartime leather chinstrap with steel fittings, for an M16 or M17 Stahlhelme.
One of the M91 attachments is bent a little bit, as seen in the photos.
The leather strap has a tear which is approximately 2/3 across the width of the strap, so it is fragile in this area. Otherwise, the strap is in sound condition with original stitching intact.
One of our forum members, 3littleweasels (Alan) sold a similar example on eBay for $300 within the last 60 days, as I recall. The buyer likely had to pay state sales tax as well on the purchase.
My Price: $250.00 or "Best Offer" + Postage.
Payment via PayPal is o.k. I prefer "friends and family".
USA Postage: $10.40 via Priority Mail with Tracking, shipped in a small flat rate box.
I can mail this to Canada, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore. I will need to get a postage quote for anyone who is interested that lives outside the U.S.
