Some new pics

Just got a great Period photo album that had many great shots in it, but three really stand out!!

1) A German Sniper with scoped rifle

2) 2 Soldiers with Sniper ports above their hole

3) Various equipment including maybe a flame thrower???

I agree, it looks like an acetylene and oxygen powered light.

Very cool fotos James. I have never seen the scope case before. Regarding the rifle grenade....everyone is wearing hauben did the Germans have rifle grenades at prior to 1916 or is this perhaps a training exercise?
