spike on Eigentumshelm

this is exactly ste spike that is on my Pickelhaube (Würtemberg, probably 1998, Eigentumshelm)

I know that Eigentumshelme were composed for personal use, still I don't see this type of "Spitze" often and I wouldn't expect it on this one.

Anyone knows more?[/url]

Do you have a picture? These private purchase sellers got their parts from probably the same location as the issue helmets. I don't see a big problem with the spike being on either kind.
