Spike signed

M 95 for a soldier from Grenadier-Regt. König Friedrich Wilhelm IV (1.Pommersches) Nr.2 from Stettin.Soldier Nr.121.I have seen several spikes in my life but this is the first time this is signed.

Hello,

Very curious thing! I rather think that the engraving means 2/121 (2. Kompanie Infanterie Regiment 121 "Alt Württemberg", Ludwigsburg) 1909-1911. This soldier take this spike back as a souvenir after his two years military duty in peace time.

I take my guess about the regiment number from the numbering of the dog tags, but you are probably right Philippe, thank you for your valuable comment.
