Regarding this ridiculous ball top, what is funny for those who read French is the serious tone of the ad, the seller having no doubt that this was issued by a Bekleidungsamt...

Now, if this really is too off-color for a forum of almost exclusively adult "men," kindly delete only the part considered objectionable. The rest of my comment analyzed the finial in a highly academic tone (but was likewise zapped).

Well, Chas {You naughty boy} - I was gonna title this thread "This Ball's a load of Bollock's" but I refrained - with good reason I now seems.

His description sure is though - I think he says he's not sure if the ball is ersatz or not but he's never seen one quite like it. Neither had I.
