Swedish Pickelhaubes

I have not posted anything lately, so I thought I would share with you a few of my other Haubes. These 3 are all Swedish.

I Have to be honest, I do not know much about the Swedish helmets, other then I think they are cool.

The first I beleive is a 3rd Kurrassier helmet, the other 2 Infantry?

Hey Guys,
I believe that Laurie is in the process of making a batch of Pickelhauben for Sweden right now, he has jumped from making reproductions to making the real thing.

How big are the sword cases? and are they enclosed?

Mark- the sword cases are oak with a glass front and locks. 40 inches long, 12 inches wide and 3 inches deep with adjustable foam inserts.

I purchased a few of these around 10 years ago from a display guy at the Max show.

I think they where around $100 each with shipping.

I will try and find his old catalog and pass on the information.
