This just doesn't smell right. The scales look odd and the body seems to be lacquered felt. He's already gotten a negative for a bad cork helmet, too. :-k
 
I don't know much about Uhlan helmets, but I agree with you. The chinscales look terrible and the rest of it doesn't seem to help much. I certainly don't like the way the liner is sewn in.. Seems all wrong to me too.

The scales are all wrong and aged by the usual chemical crap the fakers use to darken the brass. The button fastener on the scales is too big and the edges of each scale are clipped and sharp....wrong! Look at the close up of the sweatband stitching.....the thread is too thick for an officer helme. The scalloped edge of the sweatband is also incorrect. Yes......... Hertfordshire.
