Oh man,
I was going to buy it for Joe, but it is already too high for me, these really nice helmets alway command a high price, I have my grandfather's helmet that would display very nicely beside this one, they are in about the same condition. The only reason I have not pitched my grandfather's helmet, is that it is the only bit of my grandfather's kit that I have.

What a beauty! Joe I definately think that you should go for this one and then send it to me for minor restoration......I could have it in tip top shape for you for under $600, a real bargoon for such a lovely Prussian M15. Brian
 
Nice piece, but picky as I am I am concerned that the front aeration hole of the spike is not aligned as it should be. Was the spike detached at some point? Anguish torments me.

This is a very touching intent Joe! I am moved. I will accept any officer helmet instead. You can chose from the Rittmeister pages; they have a couple novel interesting items...
