traditions helmet or modern replica?

That's an Ulan plate (oddly not all silver and bearing an EM star) on a dragoon helmet, as far as I can tell.
Notice the spine, the neckguard edge, etc. It bears a great
resemblance to some replica helmets floating around on eBay lately.
Take a gander at the "sold" helmets, too.

I don't know what that is. I couldn't find the page for sold helmets just a picture of the wappen. Cruciform base, rounded front visor 13 Ulan type plate. It does not look like it is for sale that I could see.

Hi Brad:

The helmet was at Germania's table at the SOS last February and also at the MAX. It is an extremely inaccurate and risible reproduction. Everything about it is so absolutely wrong, one scarcely knows where to begin an analysis of its flaws.
