Here’s a nice issue tunic for an NCO OF Train-Abteilung 89. I’m not if 89 Train was assigned to a corp or part of the 89 DIVISION

not the Train-Abteilung 89 but a wartime train unit with the number 89, for example Proviant-Kolonne 89 (formerly schwere-Proviant-Kolonne 6, XV. Armee-Korps)

All the the peacetime Train-Abteilungen ceased to exist on mobilisation, their personnel being used to form a replacement detachment (Train-Ersatz-Abteilung) of the same number and literally hundreds of wartime formations to supply the armies in the field. Incidentally, Train-Bataillone were renamed as Train-Abteilungen per order 1 April 1914.
