There’s only one guy who takes pictures of helmets in a red couch ; Ritscher ,so now we know where it came from.
Nice tschapka ,but I’m not buying anything overseas.

I believe the description of the piece, being in a collection for 30 years. However, I noticed the chinstrap is missing the buckle - to me this has always called the originality of the strap into question. I remember (30 years ago) purchasing a rebuilt strap for Tschapka, the strap was very nice, but for the buckle, it was just too large.

The Fangschnurr is a copy. The seller should have mentioned it, instead of suggesting it is authentic ("... a peine jauni par les annees"; combien? 8?..).
And it appears to be a 3GUR, not a 1GUR as written.
Marketwise, the value of these older models used to be much lower than that of post-1890 Tshapkas. Has it changed?
