Hi all,
I'm happy to share with you the latest addition in my collection. It's a cover for EM's Tschapka, stamped "UR. 4". The cloth is very light but undamaged, all the hooks are present but rusty and there is the correct sheet of leather around the hole for the Fangschnur. I do believe that it's a ware time fabrication and certainly of the year 1915, because of the regimental stamp inside and the missing high numbers in red or green on the outside of the cover. It's just a personal idea.
I bought it recently to Great War Militaria at Chambersburg, PA and it was as usual a real pleasure to deal with Dean.
