Here is a Uberzug which has known WWI
It is not easy but we can see the painted numbers : 124, which have been painted directly by the soldier after the order removing the red numbers (). The soldier traced a line to help him painting the 3 numbers at the same level. The green colour faded with the time.
The inside
Some red yarns are still visible which demonstrate that this Uberzug, made in 1912, has first red stitched numbers.
We can too see the print of a wurttembergish plate on the fabric.
