I could always be wrong and this is conjecture but I believe that visor was added on by the repair agency printed on it.
 
You could be right Joe but this is one of those pieces that one would have to have in hand and subject to close examination to figure out what has been done. There does seem to be some white traces of glue on the underside of the rear visor. I have had to deal with the results of the "glue gun " on several restorations. Fortunately, the glue can be cut or peeled off from a leather visor without too much damage. For our newer collectors, the glue can always be seen if you flip the helmet over and look at the seam from the underside. On the outside, always be suspicious if you can not see thread in the stitch holes....yet the visor is not loose. Something has to be there underneath holding the visor on and most times it is glue!
