Waffenmeister crowned shield?

I've recently picked up a small crowned shield with a Prussian eagle.
It looks much like the one shown on pages 469-470 of the Stubbs book (Imperial German Military Officers' Helmets & Head Dress), yet it seems to be somewhat larger.
Could this be some other bit of insignia worn by a Waffenmeister?

Thanks,
Brad

Brad, there are three different sizes of these Beamte insignia, (please keep in mind I am in the USA and working off memory here...) but typically for Beamte you have one size for the Schirmmutze, one for the shoulder boards, and one for the Epaulettes.

Hmmm....this one is probably too big for a helmet plate, then.
Thanks,
Brad
