Torsten it looks aassembled. Pearl ring and base do not fit. Hex nut and some sort of tounged liner. Pass. :-x

If the pic is on the web just use the img tag located in the reply box, insert the web address of the picture (found by right clicking and copying it from properties and close the img tag. Like the example below.

Torsten, the spike top is incorrect for this "supposed" Bavarian helmet. The wappen is the older style model 1886 with the extra leaves around the central cartouche. The interior reminds me very much of a post war NCO firemans' helme. Brian

Hi Brian, thank you very much...after having received further info it does indeed appear to be a Feuerwehr helmet 'comverted' to Pickelhaube status later on in life..Cheers, Torsten.
