Looks good to me.

When I looked there were photos of the liner, it's an officer type, I'll have to look closer again here. The 'wide angle' effect of the photos doesn't help much, but to me this looks like a war time helmet of fair quality. The liner doesn't look that great and the mixed trim doesn't do much for me, but then if you collect war time, this might be a nice one, since it's an example perhaps of 'making do'. Pretty pricey IMHO, but I'm not thinking of buying it! :)
On the other hand, this might be a parts helmet, but I get more of the feeling of war time, rather than put together. Maybe somebody who's more into Saxony could help here.

I would pass on it based on the EM visor trim(which is incorrect for a officer helmet), condition and price. That's just my opinion.

Agreed. Even for a private purchase, wartime, I don't like that trim either, nor the price. The liner band also looks odd to me, both the material and width don't look right. Seems to go too deep into the shell. ? All in all, it's an odd looking helmet. Like I said above, it may be perfectly good as a wartime expedient helmet, but it may also be a parts helmet. Only getting it in your hands and taking some parts off would tell... which some folks don't like to do.

Disagreed. This is no EM visor. It shows the typical curvature of saxon officer helmet visors. I rather think it was a low-quality trim that lost its finish, exactly as the rear spine did.
This being said, the condition is mediocre and the helmet is overpriced.
