I am looking at this helmet that I believe is Prussian Zollamt or Polizei.
Were these helmets ever configured in such a fashion?
This has officer fittings but an enlisted liner.

Thanks. I would never consider a military helmet configured in such a fashion, but I have seen some unusual configurations with Beamter and police helmets. It looks like it has been unchanged since day one, but the enlisted liner doesn't seem correct.
Still looking for additional input.
