Hi guys,

What does the 'ga' or is it '9a' mark means? I do know that the stamped 29 R means Prussian 29th Rgt.

Btw, these marks came from a wappenless M15 haube, which due to the presence of the 29R, i would presume that its the Prussian 29th Rgt.

Thanks
BB

Bambang I think it is a 9. I would like to see more pictures of the helmet. Dating it might help and it seems these letters are raised?!?!?!

Hey Joe,
I think Bambang is right It looks more like a ga to me, look at the little tail high right on th e"9"

The "ga" stamp appears in issued uniforms as well. I have been discussing this stamp for years with collectors. No-one seems to know what it is?

Hi guys,

Tony, Your uniform has the identical 'ga' mark as well. Does this 'ga' mark be the first found on a haube?

And Joe
The 'ga' mark came from an M15 haube, prussian presumably, but its in a sorry condition, here are some more pics.
