Well, it says in the description that it was used after 1918 in a Schutzenverein, a shooting club.
Probably the center of the wappen was changed to the sign of the schutzenverein that used it.
But I once saw a Saxon police haube which also had a different centerpiece.
Correct star, Crown and laurels were there on the center but also a different inner section.

It might be legit.
