What's wrong with this Garde Reiter helmet ?

Can someone explain to me what is wrong with this helmet:

Was not sold at HH, lot 4269 (€4500 bet) during the auction.
I have the feeling, given the different interior, that this might be a reproduction?
And that also applies to the lion?

I have seen that lot 4251 is indeed marked as an old reproduction, but not this helmet...
But my gut feeling is that there's a lot more wrong with this helmet..
The interior, for example, with raw leather in the visor and a fairly undetailed lion...
Am I right or am I paranoid?..

No, you're not paranoid. I personally think that lion hasn't got detail enough. One of the members here once posted a lot about these helmets, and what to look out for, a member from Belgium. I think his name was Spiker here, but hasn't been online for a long time.
