Which Units?

Does anybody know which units would have used these:

Are they universal for a "generic" lieutenant?

John ;
I G shoulder straps is my line of collecting at this point in time .
Helmets since 1970 .However , I will give it a try . They looking nothing like what I have seen before .
No # and no cypher is for Prussian Garde , but not with a metallic field .The metallic field appears
to be gilt ? Saxon officers have a metallic field , but in silver and with cyphers or numbers .
Mecklenburg officers have a metallic field ,but again with cyphers or numbers .
That pretty much rules out the units that I write about .Sorry, not much help.

I got some additional information on these. The metal horseshoe appears to be a silver metal that was gilded. Most of the gilding is gone. The cloth bullion is silver. There is no indication that there were ever ciphers or numbers attached.
They appear to be Franco Prussian War vintage. Shoulder Boards and Straps started replacing Epaulettes in 1866 in accordance with Prussian regulations. The underlay colors (Waffenfarbe) were used to identify Korps assignments up to 1915 on epaulettes, but were standardised later to identify artillery, infantry, etc. Infantry units can be found with red, white, green, blue, and yellow underlays.

This website has been helpful, but not enough:
