Why so high?

Does this helmet come with gold bricks? I have no idea why it is selling for so much and maybe I am missing something in the pictures.

I have difficulty telling for sure, but this looks like a very nice example of one of the rarest helmets, I would not bid with out cheacking my books first, but this looks to be one of the very first Stahlhelm models called the square dip

As Steve says, it's certainly not a square dip, because the maker of this helmet is Gebruder Gnüchtel, Lauter/Sachsen. The square dips were produced by ET which stands for Eisenhüttenwerk Thale, Thale/Harz.
Nevertheless it's an attractive helmet, but as stated before, it's maybe a little bit to expensice for a standard M16...

yup, I was wrong, I finaly got my book out, I have to have the two models side by side to tell, so why is it so high?
