With the addition today of the Major's strap
I was able to add to my I R 125 officers straps
Interesting that the cypher is for King Friedrich III of Prussia
who was also Kaiser so the Reich's crown .
The cpyher was awarded 20 March 1888
the regiment was raised 1809
The strap on the left has the red underlay and also has the raised cypher and crown
all of the other straps have white underlay
Next we see other Wurttemberg Infantry officers straps
with the rank of Major or above
One pair came from Dr. Eric J. of Kansas for those who might
remember him .
