1915 Prussian Pickelhuabe Cardboard Visors

Pickelhuabe has some of the threads missing on and what is the best way to go about restoring the stitching? Everything is intact, only the threads are missing on half of the rear visor, and all the front visor but it is held on by the side rivets.

Welcome to the forum. Good purchase, I see no problems with your helmet. So it looks like you have a leather shell with cardboard visors? Regarding visor restitch you can go into the restoration section and see lots of photos and descriptions of how to do it, or I offer a restoration service and can do it for you. Regarding gas masks go for it, many of our members have them in their collections.

How much is the restitch service? The thing is I am ND so I am not too far from the border but i am not sure how much ship will be there and back. I did pay a lot for the pickelhaube.
