Your valued knowledge of a bronze statue

I recently purchased a bronze statue, which on one side is engraved "Guss. Pirnep & Franz Dresden" and on the other side E.Paul FET. In front of the statue is engraved "1904" and "1910". I also added some pictures, would you possibly be able to let me know what it stands for and maybe as well what it's worth?

Many thanks in advance and hope for a quick reply!

Hello Steelhelmets,
Look at this thread,
http://pickelhaubes.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1566&start=0
It discusses another statue that was recently acquired by another member, he wanted it because it was the 137th Infantry, but I do not think that the price was inflated much by that fact, the price was $575. I do not think that the price was that high, but the buyer seems to disgree. Here is a link to the ebay sale,

There was on the weekend another Statue to a Baden Infantrymen dated 1896-1898 ,I was watching it ,bit removed from my watch list .It should still be out there .I believe the same maker .That might give you an idea of waht they might go for as well.
This my own opinion and i do not collect Bronzes so gus would be the guy to follow on this .

Mark,
I know diddly on these things, I just know that Joe got a cool one, and that if you figure the original cost with 7% interest, it is cheaper now than it was when it was new.
