Here are some others pictures. Indeed, I will keep it because it was offered to the great aunt of my wife by the soldier in the field hospital of Chateau Thierry at the end of september 1914. Teh great aunt was a volunteer to be nurse and take care of the french and german wounded. It has always be in the familly until I manage to have it. The helmet cover was still in place, explaining the mint state of teh helmet.

The numbers were removed by the soldier after the battle of Marne by we can see the traces
