My fleamarket finding from last Saturday. A nice Kaiser print.

A Painting by the Artist Max Kroner. He did several paintings of Wilhelm II in the 1890s, and he had a very nice particular style.
This is one of my favorite of his paintings, and I congratulate you on your find.

Yes, you can see that he uses a specific style of painting, that I cannot really describe. However you can see what I mean.

It was not my first Kaiser .

I got this nice frame in the background of my display case last year...

That's a really nice display, that picture of Wilhelm was taken after 1915, as you may already know, you can tell this because of he cut of his moustache, and the uniform, and yes, I am the type of person to figure out exactly what his moustache looked like at any given time, thats just what I call dedication.

Very cool pickup at a flea market. I have always loved going to flea markets, especially the ones in Europe, I have always found great prices when stationed in Germany.
