EM Bavarian M95.

Hello again,

Alongside the Saxon haube, I also bought this Bavarian M95 today.







It is marked to IR13, on the other side is a marking in a large square, which I cannot read. Support-disc is missing, but all in all it looks quite good
to me.

It is the first size 53 I saw also, most of my haubes are 55 or larger.

Ron, the strap is marked Diethelm & Co. A.G. Oberriet.
Oberriet is a place in Switzerland, very close to the border with Bayern.

A very intesresting helmet with a original maker marking on the chin strap !
I have a bavarian helmet with the same type of cracking on the inner side the front visor. My helmet is dated from 1915. That's why I think that these two bavarian helmets are war manufactured and were made from ersatzt materials of low quality.
