Is it a Hirschfanger or not?

If the blade is re-curved it is a Yatagahn. This is a Bavarian Hirschfanger with a straight blade.

Maybe it's the M65/71 for Jägerbüchse. On the other hand, the grip plates are not from the model, the S-guard is slightly bent, and I'd need a photo of the blade to see if it still has its "carp's tongue" tip.

Yes, that's right. So it's just the wood chips that have been replaced. They should be black and squared off.
