Hi all, started collecting militaria a good 6 months ago, focusing mainly on WW1 German.
Mainly headdress and Sappenpanzer.
Hope to find fellow collectors, advice of people with far more knowledge than mine and maybe help someone else out

I have a penchant for the felt Pickelhauben and Tschapkas as well.
This one is a typical version with the standard size Prussian plate, as often seen on felt versions and stamped for the 6th Regiment.

I have only ever handled one of those felt tschapkas in all my years of treasure hunting. It was not in as nice condition as yours, congratulations Peter, very nice collection.
